How to help save the tower
On February 21, 2023, the FAA informed staff at the Leesburg Executive Airport that they are canceling the Remote Tower Program. The program began in March 2015 and has been providing air traffic control (ATC) services continuously at the airport since June 2018 for 10 hours a day (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.).
Cancellation of the Remote Tower Program will end ATC services at the airport on June 14, 2023.
